Wau Catholic Vicar General urged all mothers to provide daughters with information related to body biological changes at an early age to avoid early pregnancy.
Germano Bernardo Baku said lack of adolescence information for girls force many to risk of abortion and use of contraceptive drugs contrary to social teachings of the Catholic Church, Voice of Hope reported.
He advised parents to freely interact with daughters on sexual related facts to mitigate sexual evils in the society.
The Vicar General made the remarks during a workshop attended by 25 women on Catholic Church social teachings organized by Wau Diocese Justice and Peace Commission.
