Rumbek Catholic Diocese Peace and Justice Office on Wednesday started a three-day youths’ training on peace and justice.
Diocesan Peace and Justice Coordinator Fr Henry Gidudu told Good News Radio that the workshop was to empower youths to build peace and justice in their villages.
He explained that after the training, youths will form peace and justice committees in their various parishes and schools all over Rumbek will establish peace clubs.
Fr Gidudu said the theme of the workshop: ‘Come let us build together from the grassroots’ invites all people to be peace promoters in South Sudan.
He appealed to all citizens to embrace peace.
