Eastern Equatoria Legislative Assembly referred its budget to the tune of 220 million South Sudan Pounds to the Finance Committee for review.
The Assembly gave two weeks for the specialized committee to scrutinize the proposed budget before presenting it for deliberation, Emmanuel Radio reported.
The state Finance Minister Felix Makuja while presenting the budget observed that the allocation was fulfilling the vision of the state.
He said the budget comprises general block transfers, county transfers, tax and non tax revenues aimed at taking towns to people.
The assembly Economic Committee chairperson Dominic Otwari said the budget presentation delayed more than expected.
The fiscal year budget runs from July 1 2013 to June 30 2014.
