Yei River County Commissioner urged citizens to denounce blood shed and be ambassadors of love.
Juma David Augustine said in his message to Christians at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday that lack of love among citizens contributed to bloodshed in the country, Easter Radio reported.
He wondered for how long citizens would stay in fear, discrimination due to tribalism and revenge.
The Commissioner lamented that power struggle claimed many innocent lives including soldiers and civilians while capturing a place by either government or opposition forces.
Mr Juma said as leaders they felt sad to hear any time about funerals of people killed in war.

Commissioner Juma called on Christians to continue praying for the peace talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the conflicting parties to reach agreement.

He stressed that without prayer, fear of God, forgiveness and love for enemies, the peace talks would not yield any agreement.

The commissioner called on internally displaced persons to return home and live in peace without fear.
