Gusene Parish preacher on Sunday said the political crisis in the country was caused by bragging among war lords who claimed peace and independence were attained through their own struggles.
Scopas Joseph Mogga Lokaku told English congregation that there were killings and rampant corruption because people did not want to be corrected.
He recalled that peace and independence was an answer to committed prayers from citizens.
Pastor Jackson Aripa advised people to be careful in taking any decision for their own welfare, family, and the nation to bring about reconciliation.
He added that Christians should produce spiritual fruits to glorify God, not evil nature.
The clergy made the statement during Sunday preaching sermon in Juba.
