Holy Cross Catholic Primary School in Yirol West led Lakes State in the 2013-2014 Primary Leaving Certificate exams results.
Gabriel Mangar Majak Loi of Holy Cross became the top best pupil scoring 256 marks, Good News Radio reported.
Makuach Machiek Kook of Nyang Primary School in Yirol East took the second position.
Governor’s Advisor on Education Arkangelo Deng Kuok said there was improvement in performance with 85.3 percent overall pass.
He said boys passed with 88.2 percent compared to 72.8 percent of girls.
St Comboni Rumbek Central County Primary Schools dominated the top ten taking four places.
Rebecca Alima Manyang became the top girl occupying the tenth position among boys.
Cueibet led the other counties with 98 percent pass from all its Primary Schools.
Rumbek North County did not have candidates for the 2013-2014 examinations.
