Holy Family Parish Lainya Catechists in Yei Catholic Diocese on Thursday concluded a four-day training on liturgy, funeral rites and preparation for Lent.
Catechists Coordinator Zachariah Loku said in addition to liturgy they learnt about the Bible, Easter Radio reported.
He said he benefited from the training and would tour Lainya, Wuji, Mukaya and Yöndöru to train the other Catechists.
Comboni Chapel Catechist Simon Luwate Lemi said there was need to train the other catechists to preach the Gospel well.
Mr Luwate stressed the need to train people to effectively do their duties.
