Tonj South Central Prison in Warrap State finished improving the Prison fence.
Prison Officer Lual Machar told Don Bosco Radio that the first prison fence built in 2005 was short encouraging inmates to jump and escape.
He explained that the new fence was three meters high and the aim was to prevent inmates from escaping in the prison.
Mr Machar said there were 255 prisoners including 16 people jailed for killing and other different crimes.
The Officer described the renovation as a positive sign and development of Tonj South County Prison Service.
