Tonj South County in Warrap State opened two Accelerated Learning Centres.
Education Deputy Director Samuel Mayiik on Tuesday said they opened one in Thiet Payam and another in Makerdit School, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said Greater Tonj has 46 primary, four secondary schools and two Accelerated Learning Centres.
The Deputy Director urged organized forces to join the programme to get Primary Leaving Certificate and continue with their education to deliver better services.
He explained that Accelerated Learning Programme’s new syllabii were summarized to four years only.
The Deputy Director called on people who did not complete their education to attend the Programme.
Mr Mayiik advised the entire community, traffic Police, Wildlife, Fire Brigade and other forces to join Adult Education.
The Deputy Director urged all head teachers to allow organized forces to learn to facilitate their duties.
Mr Mayiik also advised head of departments and units to send their forces to school to be able to write accurate reports in the future.
