Sacred Heart Parish Priest in Tonj South County of Warrap State on Sunday advised young Christians to become priests and seek God’s wisdom.

Fr John Peter appealed to parents to send their children to seminaries and convents to become priests and sisters to serve the people of God and help the young  and poor people in prayer, Don Bosco Radio reported.

He said Jesus Christ is God who sacrificed himself to save people from sins.

Fr Peter urged Christians to pray for priests’ families because they left their families to serve the people of God.

He urged the entire community of Tonj South to  pray for peace and unity among the people to love one another.

Fr Peter urged parents and guardians to send their children to school to become future leaders.

He said the work of Salesians of Don Bosco was to help young people and the poor in the world because it was a call from God.

The Parish Priest urged the young people to take the good example of the late St Don Bosco who love youths and children.
