The national Agriculture deputy minister on Tuesday confessed that she loves the landscape and the people of Kajo-Keji County.
Lily Albino Akol Akol who accompanied Vice President James Wani Igga to Kajo-Keji told residents that her first visit was very impressing and would like to return to the area.
She fancied residents’ dedications to the land, education, development, construction and local agricultural entrepreneurship on maize mill initiated by sons and daughters of the soil.
Ms Akol hailed Kajo-Keji residents for maintaining peace and stability amidst what she described as ‘unfortunate’ events unfolding in Juba and other parts of the country.
She embraced the spirit of being welcoming among residents who made her felt at home, adding that she was very proud of Kajo-Keji County.
Ms Akol said it was time to wage another liberation war against tribalism to achieve love, hard work and peace in the country.
Kajo-Keji County Commissioner Henry Kala Sabuni told the guests that the County remains committed to principles of peace and unity and that it belongs to all tribes.
The Commissioner described the visit of Vice President Wani Igga and delegates as a gesture of love to the people at such a critical time.
He decried poor road network, posing hindrance to agricultural development and transport to neighbouring counties including Juba.
Mr Kala said there was need for compulsory disarmament of armed pastoralists or expulsion from the county due to fear among citizens.
He revealed that Uganda invaded South Sudan territory by occupying fertile land inside Kajo-Keji County along the border areas.
