A priest of Apostle of Jesus Congregation on Monday thanked Yei Catholic Diocese for the support during the death of his father Morris Lubang who died at the age of 76 years.
Fr John Loboka told the congregation during a memorial mass at Christ the king Cathedral that his late father lived a full life marked with generosity and affection of many participants in the commemoration, Easter Radio reported.
He appreciated the support of the Church and all individuals who paid last tribute to the late Lubang, describing it an encouragement to him.
Yei Catholic Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe said it was the work of mercy in the church to pray and be in solidarity with those who are sorrowing to console and pray for whatever comes naturally.
He urged Christians to pray for priests families because they left their families to serve people of the Lord.
Bishop Lodu appealed to parents to send their children to become priests and sisters to serve the people God.
