A senior political analyst at the University of Juba criticized the bad practice of politics in the country.
Professor James Okuk told Bakhita Radio Wake Up morning show that South Sudan politics encourages leaders to consolidate power and safeguard their position with loyal forces.
He said such a practice is very dangerous because guns do not safeguard people but wisdom works better.
Prof Okuk added that having more armed people than civilians will drag the country into big chaos.
The analyst urged national leaders not to submit too much to body guards and armed them but rather educate them on civil life and works.
He said South Sudan should not be adamant to learn good governance from other countries.
Prof Okuk urged all in the country to adapt the culture of peace, dialogue and stop using guns to resolve problems.
Analyst Okuk said SPLM/A was one factor that contributes to many problems in the country.
He pointed out that SPLA should be separated from SPLM because soldiers think the party belongs to them.
