Torit town traders shifted their businesses to Juba, Magwi, Kapoeta and Nimule towns following ran order to relocate to the model market.
Nahome Wanjiri who deals in ornaments and clothes said some traders parked their commodities in houses, planned to re-establish businesses elsewhere, Emmanuel Radio reported.
She complained of the quick decision to transfer of the market.
Another trader selling food stuff, Malual Gabriel said two weeks were not enough to construct a shop in the new market.
Torit Mayor Stephen Osfaldo Loboli said relocating traders was a bigger plan to create several markets in the town.
