Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop donated some food and non-food items to orphans under the Blessed Virgin Mary Sister Bianca Bii Mosungu in Tombura.

Bishop Eduard Hiiboro Kussala escorted by a group of diocesan staff promised more support to the orphans, Anisa Radio reported.

The food items included flour, beans, rice, sugar, beverages, tomato paste and vegetable oil while the non-food items were school exercise books and pens.

Bishop Hiiboro advised the orphans to go to school, plant potatoes, help each other and live in peace and harmony.

He told the orphans that they were very important people like any other children in the families.

The Bishop urged the orphans to pray for God’s guidance and their caretaker mother Sister Bianca Bii Mosungu.

The orphans asked the Bishop to drill to them boreholes and continue supplying to them food, school fees, uniforms, exercise books and pens.
