Aerial attacks killed six people and wounded 16 others in Darladisu village of Umdorain County in Nuba Mountains.

An eyewitness Nawur Boutros told Voice of Peace Radio that two Sudanese MIG jet fighters raided people at the borehole killing a woman and injuring two people in the first round at around nine o’clock in the morning.

He explained that in the second round, the same two jet fighters bombed the gold mining place killing five people and injuring several others on the ground.

Mr Boutros said the plane dropped four bombs and buried some people under the ground.

He said the wounded people were taken to the local hospital, but two died before receiving treatment.

Mr Boutros lamented that the Sudan government bombs Nuba Mountains while negotiating with SPLM-N in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
