Yei Mayoress on Wednesday concluded touring the six Quarter Councils to acquaint herself with the living conditions of the people.
Cecilia Oba Tito told the media on Thursday that the tour was to also enlighten the people about the Municipality and councilors to know the status of councils, Easter Radio reported.
Ms Oba cited challenges facing the municipality including improper feeder roads and bridges, inadequate water, health and poor schools structures with few teachers.
She further explained that the people in the Quarter Councils lack electricity, recreational centres and chiefs’ motivation and support to communities.
The Mayoress said the challenges were compiled and would be implemented.
