Catholic Bishops urge Christians to pray for peace talks

Wau Catholic Bishop said the Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference ten-day extraordinary plenary called on Christians in the Sudan and South Sudan to pray for peace talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
 
Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak said when the two conflicting parties negotiating in Addis Ababa receive light and grace, peace talks would succeed, Voice of Hope reported.
 
The Bishop clarified that honest and sincere talks was the best way to resolve crisis and reach lasting peace.
 
He said the demanded the Church and the civil society organizations to be involved in the talks for their views to incorporated. 
 
Bishop Majak invited all people to engage in prayers, love and cooperation.
 
He said described the talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as a chance God gave to South Sudanese to begin well again a new country where people love truth love life and work for truth, justice and peace.
 
Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak was talking in Wau after extraordinary plenary that brought together Sudan and South Sudan Bishops from January 21 to 31 in Juba.
