Action Africa Help or AAH on Saturday praised Western and Central Equatoria governments for recapturing their vehicle robbed on Monday in Yei.

An anonymous AAH official appreciated the forces and Commissioners offices for recapturing the vehicle and arresting suspects, Easter Radio reported.

The official explained that robbers locked in their security guards at gunpoint and drove away the organization’s vehicle.

Yei County Police Inspector Colonel Ater Nichola said the suspects and the vehicle were arrested in Iba county of Western Equatoria after coordinated communication from local authorities.

He added that the suspects and the vehicle were under police custody waiting for trial in Yei.

Colonel Ater confirmed that the suspects changed the organization’s vehicle number plate with a government number plate to avoid identification.

He called on citizens to immediately inform the police for assistance in case of security threats in the county.
