Torit Catholic Apostolic Administrator said the Church supports dialogue to resolve the ongoing conflict in the country.

Monsignor Thomas Oliha told Vice President James Wani Igga that the church did not approve military action to resolve the conflict, Emmanuel Radio reported.

He called on the government to continue with dialogue.

Monsignor Oliha stressed that the Church would insist on dialogue even if one party in the peace negotiation was reluctant.

He appreciated Eastern Equatoria Governor Louis Lobong Lojore for maintaining peace, asking people to coexist in harmony.

The Apostolic Administrator was talking to the Vice President in a meeting on Tuesday in Torit.
