Peace Commissions call for immediate ceasefire

National Peace Commission, the National Healing, Peace and Reconciliation Commission, and the Specialized Peace and Reconciliation Committee in the National Legislative Assembly jointly called for immediate ceasefire to end the suffering of the people.
 
Peace and Reconciliation Commission Chairperson Chuol Rambang Luoth called on the warring parties to immediately stop fighting because the reconciliation process would take time, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He said his Commission was committed to achieve peace in the country.
 
Peace and Reconciliation Committee Chairperson in the National Legislative Assembly David Okwier Akway encouraged the warring parties to resolve the conflict as soon as possible.
 
He said the country needs a ceasefire without delay.
 
National Healing, Peace and Reconciliation Commission Chairperson Archbishop Daniel Deng Bull called on SPLM to resolve its problem as quick as possible.
 
He said the ongoing crisis in the country was not national, but came from SPLM house that need its members to iron out peacefully.
 
Archbishop Deng strongly condemned the crisis and called on the conflicting parties to immediately end the fighting.
 
The three leaders called on the parties to save lives of civilians and allow peace to prevail in the country.
