Tonj South County authorities in Warrap State on Thursday started collecting 25 South Sudanese Pounds per household.

Senior Field Officer Gabriel Lueth said the 25 Pounds were collected every year from heads of household, Don Bosco Radio reported.

Mr Lueth said household heads pay a uniform amount while traders pay according to their shops.

The Senior Field Officer said they take 25 Pounds as the first plot document not according to houses built at each plot.

Mr Lueth urged Tonj South residents to cooperate with the committee by paying their taxes.
