Bishop urges Eastern Equatorians to maintain peace

The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba urged Eastern Equatoria citizens to protect the prevailing peace in the state.
 
Bishop Santo Laku Pio who visited Torit to ordain seminarian Moses Lomodo a deacon described the state a place of harmony in South Sudan and hailed efforts of maintaining peace, love and unity, Emmanuel Radio reported.
 
He said the rest of the States should learn from Eastern Equatoria to live peacefully.
 
Bishop Laku warned residents against copying Juba crisis that left thousands dead.
 
He lamented that Christians in Juba did not celebrate Christmas vigil mass due to insecurity.
 
Bishop Loku called on Christians to embrace Christ for unity.
