A priest in Wau Diocese strongly condemned the violence and atrocities in the country, saying the blood of innocent people cry to God for justice.
Fr Santino Maurino Morokomomo challenged political leaders and citizens in the country for the deteriorating security situation in some parts of South Sudan, Voice of Hope reported.
He asked why South Sudanese kill themselves instead of joining their hands to build the nation.
Fr Maurino cautioned politicians against getting mistakes of former leaders who misused their powers against their own people.
He appealed to the warring leaders to stop shedding innocent blood for their personal interests.
Fr Maurino advised all South Sudanese to refrain from violence over power struggle, but concentrate on development of the nation.
