Yei River County Commissioner urged traders not to increase prices of commodities in markets so that ordinary citizens in the area can afford to buy.
Juma David Augustine advised the business community not to take advantage of the situation in the country for doubling prices in markets, Easter Radio reported.
He explained that there was no need to double prices beacuse the government was controlling the security situation and goods were moving into the country normally.

He added that any fuel dealer who increase price alone would enter into problems.
The Commissioner made the remarks after receiving complaints from citizens that market prices were going high in the county.
