Ugandan President visits Juba

The Ugandan President on Monday visited Juba to hold talks with his South Sudanese counterpart on the current political crisis in the country.
 
The Press Secretary in the Office of the President Ateny Wek Ateny told journalists in Juba that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni visit was in line with IGAD leaders’ move to realize peace in South Sudan, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He said the visit was to find out possible solutions to end the ongoing crisis in the country.
 
Mr Ateny said the two leaders were expected to find peaceful ways of ending the conflict in South Sudan.
 
He said the Ethiopian Foreign Minister also arrived in Juba to hold similar talks with President Salva Kiir.
 
The Press Secretary said the African leaders were working on modalities to bring peace in South Sudan.
