University of Bahr El Ghazal or UBG Trade Union called upon the leadership of South Sudan to end the ongoing violence and immediately resort to peaceful resolution.
The Union chairperson Malual Majok Ring condemned the violence, saying the world was laughing at South Sudan, Voice of Hope reported.
He said the violence gains nothing to the Country, but damages its image.
Mr Majok condemned taking power by force and killing of innocent lives.
He expressed deep condolence to the families that lost their relatives during the violence.
Situation remains tense in Malakal after Riek Machar’s rebel claimed control of Unity State.
