Sudan People’s Liberation Army-North in Blue Nile State claimed to have destroyed Sudan Armed Forces or SAF patrolling soldiers and killed their commander in Bowrgo area, 30 kilometres south of Damazin on Thursday morning.
SPLM-N spokesperson Arnu Ngutulu Lodi told Voice of Peace in an email that their forces killed SAF commander while patrolling Division Four.
He said they destroyed one vehicle and captured eight AK-47 rifles, nine boxes of ammunition and a land mine detector.
The spokesperson said they lost one soldier and one was wounded.
