IDPs number rises to over 121, 000

The number of people internally displaced by the current crisis in South Sudan rose to 121,600 including 63 thousand sheltering in UN compounds.
 
OCHA report on Friday said aid agencies reached up to 53,500 displaced people with some assistance. 
 
It added that the agencies registered more than six thousand people of an estimated 25 thousand people displaced in Juba.
 
OCHA report said additional air assets and transport support were needed to enable the response.
 
Aid agencies need 166 million US Dollars to respond to immediate needs caused by the crisis until March 2014.
