Wau Catholic Bishop called on national leaders to stop more bloodshed in the Country and have new spirit of brotherhood for nation building.
Presiding over the second mass at St Mary’s Cathedral on Christmas Day, Bishop Rudolf Deng Majak called on South Sudanese to mark a new beginning as they get to the New Year 2014, Voice of Hope reported.
He remarked that the infant Jesus brought peace and joy to the country.
Bishop Majak prayed that may the joys of Christmas clean all dark moments the Country encountered in the past few days.
He said Jesus came to relieve his people from troubles and help resolve their differences before they go out of control.
Bishop Majak called on Christians to pray for their brothers and sisters who could not celebrate Christmas due to the recent violence.
The Bishop called on Christians to stop looking at each other on a tribal line, but love one another with the new spirit.
