The Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSSS Yei Diocese Bishop called on the President of the Republic and his opponent to negotiate and end their political crisis through dialogue in the country.

Bishop Hillary Luwate Adeba urged Salva Kiir, Riek Machar and their supporters to rethink and work for peace by coming to the roundtable, Easter Radio reported.

He called on the two leaders to quickly iron out their differences and bring the crisis to an end.

Bishop Luwate appealed to the leaders to listen to the voice God, the church and their citizens.

He said God gifted South Sudan to people with resources for development not for destruction.

Bishop Luwate was delivering a homily while presiding over Christmas mass in Yei.
