Yei River County Commissioner in Central Equatoria State urged all stakeholders in the county to participate in promoting peace due to current national crisis.
Juma David Augustine blamed civil society organisations for remaining silence without campaigning for peace and respect for humanity, Easter Radio reported.
He told County Legislative Councillors and business community members that it was time to talk about peace to citizens at the grassroots.
Commissioner Juma urged state and national MPs to speak to the government about peace, respect for the rule of law and the need to rebuild the country.
The Commissioner was reacting to the silence of the three groups of people who could convince the government to work for peace.
