Tong South County Relief and Rehabilitation Commission Secretary said on Friday they distributed tents and plastic sheets to flood affected people.
Gordon Makuer said the items were donated by the national government in October, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said the items delayed since last month in Juba because of no transportation to take them to the affected people in Greater Tonj.
Mr Makuer advised people who were not affected by floods to allow their brothers and sisters to receive because the items were few.
He added that the items were distributed according to the five payams of Greater Tonj.
Mr Makuer urged the entire flood affected people from the five payams of Greater Tonj to stay in their various places to get their items.
