The national Electricity, Dam and Water Resources ministry on Saturday donated food items including water, sugar, rice, juice and bread to Juba Teaching Hospital.
Minister Jema Nunu Kumba said the small contributions were collected by the ministry staff as their support to victims of the alleged coup attempt, Bakhita Radio reported.
She said her ministry decided to fully supply the hospital with water and that electricity would be supplied fullly to the Hospital, Juba Medical Complex and Usratuna Primary Health care Centre.
Health Ministry Undersecretary Makur Matur Koryom thanked the ministry of Electricity, Dam and Water Resources for the generous support to the hospital and ensuring that electricity would run continuously in the Hospital.
He said the donation was a great contribution and would add value to the efforts of the staff.
Mr Koryiom said the situation in the hospital was improving and the staff responding positively to patients.
