Primary Leaving Certificate and Accelerated Learning Program or ALP candidates in Yei River County on Friday completed their final exams in 22 centres.
County Education Director Rev Philip Taban told Easter Radio that over 2,200 candidates: 1504 boys and 725 girls sat the exams.
He hoped the candidates perform well in the South Sudan curriculum.
Rev Philip explained that candidates who sat the exams were Primary, Accelerated Learning Program and adult Learners.
One of the candidates Rose Sharon from Christ the King Primary School said she was happy to complete her exams.
She praised God for guidance and peace that allowed them to finish their exams.
Kol Luath also from Christ the King Primary School expressed confidence to pass the exams.
He said he was ready to go and help his parents at home, urging his fellow candidates to do the same.
The candidates spoke after completing their exams at Christ the King Primary School on Friday morning.
