UNMISS welcomes improving security in Juba

United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS on Thursday welcomed improvement in security conditions in Juba.
 
In a statement issued on Thursday, UNMISS head Hilde Johnson said the Mission lifted restrictions on the movement of its personnel and resumed patrols on a limited basis in the city.
 
The statement added that the Mission restored flight service to and from the Ugandan city of Entebbe.
 
It called on the Government to do its utmost to end any continuing violence and ensure that all civilians safety all over the city.
 
the statement called on all parties to the violence to exercise restraint and seek a peaceful way out of the current crisis.
 
Security conditions in Bor of Jonglei State deteriorated significantly during the course of the day.
