The President of the Republic argued in a press conference on Wednesday that dictatorship did not justify an uprising to kill people.

Salva Kiir Mayardit said denying audience to his party members was not a good reason enough amounting to killing.

He said Mama Rebecca Nyadeng De Mabior, the widow of late Dr John Garang remains his advisor on Gender and Human Rights despite insulting him in the press.

The President accused the widow of being among coup plotters, but reserved reasons not to arrest her like others now in detention.

He added that he was not afraid of Mama Rebecca Nyadeng in anyway.

Mr Kiir rubbished accusations that he was a dictator, saying he was easily approachable to Mama Nyadeng as his advisor.

The President accused Dr Riek and the group of running away from the forum for addressing grievances during the conclusion of National Liberation Council to breed coup plans.

Earlier on Information Minister Michael Makuei Lueth told the press that the alleged coup plotters were not comfortable with the exclusion and inclusion of some ideals in the party basic documents including the constitution and manifesto passed during the Liberation Council meeting on Saturday.
