Teachers were encouraged to attract back children who dropped out from schools to continue with their education.

Yei Mayoress Oba Cecilia Tito made the recommendation during an inspection tour to Brace on Thursday, Easter Radio reported.

Ms Oba advised teachers to be committed to their service to attract dropouts to return to school.

She encouraged the teachers to bring up children from vulnerable families to cope up in the learning system so that they would be successful in their education.

Ms Oba declared that her administration in collaboration with the education department would solve the problems of few teachers.

Brace area education manager Abdur Rashid said the visit aimed to check on programs under implementation, including adolescent girls and microfinance initiatives.

He revealed that Brace has 90 centres in Yei County with 2,700 pupils.
