The much announced Bentiu oil refinery should start before the New Year.
The Russian ambassador to South Sudan Sergey Shishkin announced the development on Wednesday, GoSS website reported.
He said the Russian Government in collaboration with the Republic of South Sudan would also build a road connecting Bentiu and Juba.
Ambassador Shishkin added that plans were underway to bring in Russian technologies for boosting agriculture and international, modern business centres in Juba.
The Bentiu oil refinery should have been in production by last July but bad roads delayed the arrival of some key Russian equipment from Mombasa.
