Key stakeholders from different government institutions including the President of the Republic on Monday assembled in Juba to review the national curriculum.
Salva Kiir Mayardit said the curriculum needed to be integrated with other East African curricula to enable citizens understand the East African community, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said learning about East African curricula would enable South Sudan to join the community.
Undersecretary in the national Education ministry Deng Deng Hoch said the aimed of their meeting was to consult stakeholders, explores the opportunity and informed the general public on curriculum development.
The South Sudan national curriculum review stakeholder’s consultative conference that started on Monday will conclude on Friday.
