Yei River County Commissioner on Sunday urged Christians to continuously pray for peace in the country.
Juma David Augustine told the congregation at Christ the King Cathedral that some people were associating with witchdoctors despite the fact that they move with cross, Easter Radio reported.
He called on Christians to disassociate themselves from wicked practices of the world that would not bring peace.
Commissioner Juma called on the people of South Sudan to reconcile while preparing to receive the birth of Jesus Christ.
He cautioned the congregation that real peace would not be achieved if communities stay in hatred without reconciling.
