American university offers South Sudan scholarships

The American University of Indiana offered master degree scholarships in education to female teachers in the ten states of South Sudan.
 
The scholarship came through the United States Agency for International Development or USAID, Voice of Hope reported.
 
Western Bahr El Ghazal Director for Training and Curriculum Formation in the Ministry of Education Thomas Beyago said they received application forms targeting 20 female teachers.
 
He explained that applicants must be between 25 to 35 years old and must fluently speak and write English language.
 
Mr Beyago said the teachers would study in Juba University and that the final interview is expected take place in December.
 
The Director disclosed that the female teachers who will fulfill the conditions will study for twelve months.
