Colonel Abanego Akol Ayoung called on communities to respect women’s rights in inheritance especially land ownership, Voice of Hope reported.
He said women were victims of injustice in every society and marginalized in most crucial things.
Mr Akol wondered why most senior officials roam with arrogance and pride yet they were born, nourished and raised by mothers, aunts and sisters.
He urged women to educate each other on their rights to participate in the nation building.
Colonel Akol called on citizens to work hard to combat traditional malpractices.
The director was addressing 116 police women during a one-day workshop organized by South Sudan Land Alliance.
