Primary and secondary schools in Tonj South County of Warrap state are facing serious of shortage education materials including pieces of chalk and chairs.
One of the school head teachers William Majong Akot told Don Bosco Radio that his school lacked chalks and chairs.
He said the situation discouraged learners and teachers.
Mr Majong said the end of school feeding program was another blow that affected pupils in Tonj South County.
The head teacher called on the government and the community to cooperate with teachers to boost education in the county.
The school enrolled 1,500 pupils including 350 girls.
