Bakhita Radio on Saturday graduated 38 journalists who underwent six months training in radio journalism, production and drama.
Bakhita Radio Director Albino Tokwaro Fabian said the training was to equip journalists with editing skills.
He said the training started after the Radio realized the importance of empowering young people interested to become journalists.
Mr Tokwaro declared that 99 percent of the trainees passed.
He promised to enroll the graduates for another practical training through attachment.
Central Equatoria Information minister Suba Samuel Manasseh said the government in every country cannot function well without the media.
He said the government can only evaluate its performance through people expression on the media.
Mr Samuel added that business can collapse if the proprietors do not know choices of their customers.
He urged the graduates to put into practice the skills they acquired.
Bakhita Radio training was supported by South Sudan Media Forum.
