Lily Iliha a trader in Omoliha market wondered why thieves break into shops every night yet traders pay 60 South Sudanese Pounds for police to guard the market.

Another trader Simon Mou asked where the money collected from them was taken and how it was used.

He compared traders in the market to children without parents, saying nobody follow up the security tax collection.

Ugandan Traders chairperson in Eastern Equatoria Mubarak Kizangi complained of continued burglary at his shop and that the police failed to rescue the crime.

Mayor Osfaldo acknowledged traders’ complaints and promised to discuss the matter with the county authorities.
