A state Member of Parliament representing Sakure Constituency in Nzara County on Friday organized a big gathering at Bakpara Primary School to talk to and hear from her people.
MP Benty Kpiosa urged the community to unite, bear with the government and re-arrange their plots, Anisa Radio reported.
She donated 26 pairs of shoes to women, ten caps to youths, four water filters, four cups and one blood pressure monitor to Bakpara primary health unit.
The MP gave two balls to Sakure center and another two to Baakpara boma.
Community representatives thanked the government for the ongoing Sakure road rehabilitation.
They complained of lack of training for local traders, lack of sport materials for youth, lack of teachers, nurses and job opportunities to boost the economy of the area.
State SPLM Secretary Manasseh Doboi urged Baakpara community to support the government and the SPLM.
Nzara County Commissioner Elia Richard Box encouraged the communities to be vigilant and supervise teak trees in the area.
He told the leaders to follow up Baakpara development issues.
