A midwife in Debi Clinic Centre of Nuba Mountains urged the community to stop early marriage which results into early pregnancy.
Sureya Suleiman Kuku said early pregnancy always caused complication during delivery.
In an interview with Voice of Peace Radio, mama Sureya lamented that a great number of young girls get pregnant in premature age.
She explained that in such young girls their hip bone is narrow making delivery difficult.
Mama Sureya stated that modern entertainment has encouraged early sexual life to the young people.
She said nowadays parents are not authoritarian to their children.
Mama Sureya discouraged parents from conducting marriages of young daughters.
