Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North chairman on Wednesday issued a decree establishing a new administration for South Kordofan.
Malik Agar named Simon Kalu Komi as SPLM-N head in the state and the Governor of the Province deputized by Suleiman Jabuna Mohamed, Voice of Peace reported.
He appointed Ammar Amon Daldoum as the Secretary General of the party.
The decree said the shuffle was to implement the resolutions of previous SPLM-N council meetings to delegate more powers to SPLM-N members.
Agar said they were separating political and civil institutions from military ones to support the leadership in performing its duties to defend civilians.
A similar decree would be issued later for the Blue Nile state and formation of regional and national liberation councils.
