Juba Archdiocese launches centenary preparations

The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba announced the launch of a five-year preparation for the celebration of a centenary at All Saint Parish at Rejaf.
 
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro said the centenary will begin preparations from 2014 to 2018, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He said the Archdiocese will celebrate the centenary in 2019 with big celebration to marked 100 years of faith in Rejaf and the Archdiocese.
 
Archbishop Lukudu said committee would be formed in all parishes of the Archdiocese to organize the centenary celebrations.
 
He announced that two committees were already formed in Rejaf.
 
Archbishop Lukudu announced the centenary preparation while presiding over the All Saints Day celebration at Rejaf.
 
Rejaf parish was founded in 1919 as a Cathedral and went to Kator in 1962 when the British transferred the capital to Juba.
